How these sessions actually work

Our teaching method breaks down complex movements into manageable steps. We prioritize understanding over repetition, so you know why each technique matters and how to adapt it to your needs.

01

Assessment and goal setting

We start by evaluating your current mobility, strength, and any physical limitations. This helps us understand what you can do comfortably and where you need support. You tell us what you want to achieve, whether that's reducing back pain, improving posture, or building stamina.

Based on this conversation, we map out a realistic timeline and identify which techniques will be most useful for your situation. No generic plans or one-size-fits-all sequences.

02

Structured skill building

Each session introduces one or two new concepts with detailed instruction. We demonstrate proper form, explain the biomechanics, and walk you through common errors. You practice under guidance, receiving immediate feedback on alignment and breathing.

Sessions are recorded so you can review techniques later. We also provide supplementary materials explaining the theory behind each practice, helping you understand not just what to do but why it works.

03

Independent practice support

Between sessions, you follow a personalized practice plan designed around your schedule. We give you specific routines ranging from short exercises to longer sequences, all adapted to your current level.

You track your progress using a simple log and share observations during our next meeting. This feedback loop ensures we adjust the program as you develop, addressing challenges and building on what works for you.

Weekly session breakdown

Each week includes one live session, three practice assignments, and one check-in call. Live sessions run for 90 minutes and cover new material. Practice assignments take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on your availability. Check-in calls are optional but recommended for troubleshooting technique questions or discussing progress. You also get access to our resource library with anatomy guides, breathing tutorials, and modification videos for different poses.
